Upcoming Shows:

Annual Mother’s Day Weekend Sale at Historic Huffman House near Newport, VA: Saturday May 12, 10am – 6pm, Sunday May 13, noon – 4pm. More about Huffman House (, an historic rural general store now empty will be FULL of wonderful pots and pottery from the lovely Ladies of Sinking Creek Pottery, Zenah Orndorff, Molly Lucier, Emily Smith-McKenna. Come buy some functional or creative works for Mothers Day!

June 2-3, 2012: Vintage Virginia Wine Festival, I am making my wine glasses with ceramic mixed clay stems, berry bowls, and lots of mugs and bowls for kitchen wares. I will also be introducing a new line of individually hand-thrown stoneware baking stones (Good for pizza pies and big round cookies) with handles to boot!

August 3 – 4th, Steppin’ Out Blacksburg, Virginia.  Look for Sinking Creek Pottery Booth, I am a contributing artist of this wonderful collection of pottery explorations.

August 10 – 12, Virginia Highlands Festival, A three week long festival, look for my booth the last weekend of the festival.

September 15 – 16, 2012 Virginia Wine Festival,

October 13, 2012, Radford Highlanders Festival,  Wear your favorite Scottish Garb and Kilt and buy a celtic knot mug or bowl from this great early fall festival.

    Way to go Michael! These mugs look awesome! And how fun that you are official in cyberspace! Way to put yourself out there, my friend! I have a cupboard FULL of beautiful pottery from around the world and an empty wallet – so thus far I will only be able to cheer you on! But I look forward to adding pieces of your beautiful work to my collection soon! 🙂
